Book Seven of Bachelorette Series

(On-going)

To the man who ended things before it started,

Curse you for coming into my life pretending I was the center of your world.
Showering me with your sweet yet deceitful words,
and almost giving me everything I could ask for.
Almost. Things could've been better for us if you weren't coward enough to step up.

Curse you for starting the game but you weren't brave enough to finish it, you just pressed the quit button.

Curse you for chasing me like I was the best thing that ever happened to you then suddenly stop when you are almost at the end game.
Almost. You could've been my everything if you weren't so overwhelmed by the thrill of the chase.

Curse you for knocking through the door of my heart and ran as fast as you could when I was about to let you in.

Curse you for offering your hand then take it back when I was about to reach for it.

Curse you for making me believe that I was having a daydream when all along it was a tragic nightmare.

I deserve someone who's brave enough to write me a whole book with chapters on it, not just a phrase. I deserve someone who wants home, not just a vacation.

Because, almost... is never enough.
