(This is my 2nd AU story.)
At CHS, there's a teenage girl named Sunset Shimmer. She has so many friends and became the yearbook editor in CHS. But sometimes, three Mobians named Shadow, Rouge, and Amy Rose tease her because she is a "paranormal girl" after they went to Camp Everfree she could see ghosts/spirits and she can hear that they are asking help. And then, she met the 8 Lost Spirits: General Darmith, General Holter, General Shannara, General Thetys, Warmaster Elvira, Warmaster Barbael, Warmaster Necromancer, and Warmaster Zahra. They were the victims who had been killed by their enemies. They went to Sunset Shimmer for help to get back their geodes so they can go back to life. Will Sunset Shimmer succeed the mission so she can get them back to life?

With a much darker force looming over them, everyone is plunged into a war that will decide the fate of the universe as they look for the Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic had scattered during his first battle with the villainous Dark Oak, leader of the Metarex. During this time, Tails and Cosmo grow close and feelings start to develop, as does a sisterly bond between Cosmo, Creecha's daughter Grace, and Wallflower Blush, but with the Metarex War going on and Cosmo's own insecurities surfacing after facing a lot of trauma, those bonds will be tested as they travel through space to end the war once and for all. In her mourning time she is visited by her friend Rouge, Rouge comforts her and takes her away from the team to clear her head, in her time away she gets fairly close with Shadow in the mean time her and rouges friendship grows stronger then ever. I'm not really a ShadOuge fan so it'll mostly be about Shadow and Rouge over Amy bc why not) Shadow and Rouge both notice each other's crush on the pink hedgehog and confront each other about it. what happens when they both struggle to figure out what to do and make Amy choose? The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
