Alone

Their paths cross before. The attraction was rich but only simple greetings were said. Both admiring the other from a far on that night, but neither of them seemed to catch the other. They never caught the others name, much less why they were both at such a event. She missed his performance, he missed her dorky backstage "entertainment" she did as a joke. But after that night one forgot and one never stopped looking for the other.
