Keith is Galra. Always has been and always will be. However, he is a halfbreed and always treated as a lesser being. And his father is a traitor to the empire. But then he has his chance. A new high-value prisoner has been taken to Zarkon's main ship and Keith has been tasked with guarding them. He can finally show everyone what he can do. But his luck has never worked in his favour or has it? A silver-tongued paladin who knows what Keith's heart desires. Does Keith stay with all he's ever known or will he change, gain a team, a family?

A fanfic about Galra!Keith who grew up in the Galra Empire and ends up meeting a certain paladin who surprises Keith in every way.
