*(Author will not be continuing this story but, feel free to read the chapters that are posted)* Celeste is from a pack that was supposed to be extinct but, she was the only survivor. In order to keep herself from any harm, she dyes her hair black so that no other werewolf sees her powder blue hair. Forced to go to high school, she meets Miles Blackwell, the school's jock, playboy heart breaker, and her Mate. Because Celeste is part of the 'weak nerd group' Miles rejects her because she is not suited to be the Luna of his pack. The thing is, he doesn't know that Celeste is actually the most powerful werewolf and a rare female shifter. Although Miles had rejected her, he can't seem to resist the pull towards her.
When another new student arrives at the high school, he takes a liking at Celeste and Miles can not stand by and watch as he touches his Mate. Then, Celeste's true identity is revealed and her world turns upside down. Now that she is hunted down, can Miles save her or lose her because of her secret that she kept from others?

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
