Squirrelflight and Bramblestar are the proud parents of their twin daughters, Sparkpaw and Alderpaw....or so they think. Alderpaw discovers over the course of time that he is a tom cat, and must struggle with whether or not he wants to make it known to the rest of the clan. Meanwhile, a strange new prophecy is delivered to Thunderclan, and Alderpaw is sent out on a journey to interpret it.

ps, I'm ftm, so Alderpaw's experiences with also being ftm and his sexuality are based loosely on my own. This rewrite is very LGBT heavy so It's not really the place for you if you're not About ThatTM. They were on their way to become warriors at last! Thunderclan has many strong warriors, and peace has ruled the territories around the lake for almost three years now. Fernpaw's mentor is Ambermoon, but the ginger she-cat has been acting strangely, and always avoided Fernpaw when she was a kit. After half a moon, the grey she-cat has had enough of her mentor's strange acts, and asks her why she behaves like that. Ambermoon then reveals the truth, and Fernpaw wished that she had never asked her mentor about it. But her dreams have been troubled and dark, and the same prophecy keeps repeating itself. "Darkness will enfold the forest. Blood will bring death, and death will bring the end." But Ambermoon hides a dark secret, and soon Fernpaw will become a part of it.

The dream has a prophecy that states: Five cats, Frozen Storm, Birch Oaks, and Blowing feathers, chosen by Starclan must save the Forest, the Night, the Water, and the Sun from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden wings. Snowpaw has to figure out what this prophecy means and save the four clans from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden Wings.

Now he is faced with the difficult option of devoting his life to his clan or go back to becoming a kittypet when forest life gets too hard-what choice will he have to make next?
