Squirrelflight and Bramblestar are the proud parents of their twin daughters, Sparkpaw and Alderpaw....or so they think. Alderpaw discovers over the course of time that he is a tom cat, and must struggle with whether or not he wants to make it known to the rest of the clan. Meanwhile, a strange new prophecy is delivered to Thunderclan, and Alderpaw is sent out on a journey to interpret it.
ps, I'm ftm, so Alderpaw's experiences with also being ftm and his sexuality are based loosely on my own. This rewrite is very LGBT heavy so It's not really the place for you if you're not About ThatTM. Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. But as tensions rise between FlameClan and CliffClan, she's worried about the future ahead of them.Complete

Disclaimer: This is a completely different world with completely different clans. This fan-book is based off of the book series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Since this is based off of Warriors, there will be mild violence in this book. All the characters and the setting of this story is my original work while the rest (like the way how Clans and warrior traditions work, etc.) belong to Erin Hunter. "BEWARE THE BURNING ONE, ELSE ALL WILL FALL." Cats have been living in Clans on three islands for uncountable generations. ValleyClan has been struggling to survive in the past few moons as their enemies grow more powerful. CaveClan is becoming more of a threat and prey has become scarce as leaf-bare comes, but a young apprentice by the name of Darkpaw lets her own curiosity get the better of her to help her Clan-and maybe, just maybe she's the warrior ValleyClan has been looking for. NOTICE (so people won't bother me about them): I had not read past "The Prophecies Begin" when I wrote the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 2 so you may seem some characters with names that already exist. Also, some cats' appearances may be based off of domesticated cats, are unrealistic, or don't follow the rules of cat genetics. I am aware that regular warrior cats are wild cats, but when I initially made these designs, I got so used to them that I am not encouraged to redesign them. But hey, this is a fictional story! Multiple things in this book may not be accurate to the traditional way of warrior life (due to me not remembering how it works).
