Squirrelflight and Bramblestar are the proud parents of their twin daughters, Sparkpaw and Alderpaw....or so they think. Alderpaw discovers over the course of time that he is a tom cat, and must struggle with whether or not he wants to make it known to the rest of the clan. Meanwhile, a strange new prophecy is delivered to Thunderclan, and Alderpaw is sent out on a journey to interpret it.
ps, I'm ftm, so Alderpaw's experiences with also being ftm and his sexuality are based loosely on my own. This rewrite is very LGBT heavy so It's not really the place for you if you're not About ThatTM. ~A Fanfiction Inspired By Warriors~ Along with the four clans of the forest, there is a group of mediators that keep the peace between them. As they get older, the time grows nearer for them to choose successors who will receive their immortality which has been passed on to them by their own mentors. But this group is hiding something, and it is only a matter of time before it is revealed to the chosen successors. Petalwish is unsure if she really should be loyal to CliffClan. She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either.
