"All it takes is for someone to touch me and I become deathly ill." A seventeen year old girl who scientists call Butterfly, was born with a condition nobody had ever heard of. Her whole life she's been trapped in a large white room with a TV. She doesn't know much, but she does know that this isn't the way she wants to live. She's seen the way the kids on TV live and she knows this isn't right. All she is to anyone is a science project. What happens when she begs and pleads for a tutor so she can start to learn the way a normal homeschooled teenager would? What happens when she starts to feel something for this tutor? How could they ever be together when one touch could kill her?

Despite of being the center of attention at school she wishes to be normal girl because her memories of being a testing experiment in H.M.E as a little girl still taunts her and she's good at everything because of the special abilities they gave her which she thinks isn't fair. No matter how much she wants to forget her past she can't because she does not want to forget the first boy she ever loved who was also a testing experiment with her who she called "Yo-kun " She's haven't seen him in 7 years and wonders if he's even alive or if she will ever see him again. A new kid arrives at school and all the kids fear him as he looks like he can be the son of Satan. Maddie is curious about the boy who looks fearsome to everyone and with cold aura around him and she realizes its her first love " Yo-kun"!
