Prince Perseus Jackson had a nice 17 years of life. He lived in luxury as a One. A royal.
But this year, he is being forced into a Selection, a way for him to find a bride from any of the girls of an appropriate age in Illéa.
Annabeth Chase had some godsawful 17 years of life. She lived in happiness as a 3 for a large portion of her life, but when her mother died and her father remarried, her life turned miserable and the Selection was the only way out.
The Selection this year will be one of love, laughter, happiness, betrayal...and most importantly, death...
