WW1 set short story about the experience of a reular infantryman in the chaos of the western front.

This story was my mock GCSE language paper, I liked the story so I published it and I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
There may be some grammatical errors or lapses in articulation from where I have copied it from my practice paper but feel free to point this out.

Clay has always dreamt of going into the army, but there was only one thing stopping him from doing what he loved. After figuring out he was gay and wouldn't be allowed to join the army, he started feeling even more motivated to become a soldier. After fighting for years to follow his dreams, he's finally allowed to join the army side by side a great friend he met during the boot camp. He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! Like my previous books, I haven't gotten a cover for it but I'm working on it:)

The Shot was Fired
A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. I know it is far from perfect and I have thought about going back and reworking it but just have not gotten around to it.Complete

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Life Or Story ?
This story kind of explains why I have problems finishing stories, u have ideas then it like how do I make them not so cliché or cringe worthy. A short story with a semi finished ending, it leaves me a bit of wriggle room to add to, if I decide to. Any similarities or references are purely for fiction and I did not base this story on anything except if the third world war started. It is fiction people. All credit to the original owners or creator's for the borrowed characters and media. I own the story and the original characters. There is some references to dark topics and subjects, pleae be warned. They do only skim it though.Complete
The Golden Soldier (Call of Duty: WW2 Fanfiction)
Avaline Baker is a young woman on a camping trip with friends when she decides to go into a museum that will change her life forever. Somehow transported into the future, Ava finds herself at the barrel tip of Nazi German soldier. Transported to their camp as prisoner, Ava is lost and confused as to what, where, and who she is with...the how part is the most antagonizing. Shortly after being saved by two American men, Ava discovers she's been placed at the center of World War Two. Surrounded by warfare and American men who have strict mindsets about women in the the 1940's, the 21-year-old feels like she has no hope of surviving. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own. Hopefully, with careful and calculating steps, Ava will survive the blistering cold winters, the first-hand experience of a war, and developing a difficult bond with the men of 1st Platoon. --•--•--•-- This is a work of fan-fiction, which means I don't own practically anything.
