When Elizabeth Amelia Ross was ten years old, there had been an accident. That accident cost her the most important person in her life; her father. Even well before that dreadful day at the track, her mother had never liked her. The accident had only made it worse. Her mother blamed her for her father's death, and she never failed to remind her of the fact. For a while, Elizabeth had believed what her mother had been feeding her. But as she got older, she began to delve deeper into the crash that had killed her father. It turned out, that it hadn't been her fault after all. After figuring out that it was, in fact, not her fault, she stopped caring when it came to anything that her mother said. She didn't give a shit about what she thought either. As soon as she could, Elizabeth got out of that house, away from her mother, and moved to Pine Creek. Not only emancipating herself, but changing her name to Raven; the nickname that her father had used for her. The only problem was, even with working her two jobs, it wasn't enough to pay her rent. So, kicked out from yet another apartment, she was left with no choice but to go back to her hometown. Autumn's Grove, the town that she had thought she was done with, was where her younger sister lived with her childhood best friend. Raven's only hope was to get her sister to let her stay, temporarily, at her house. She only really needed to stay until her twenty-first birthday, when she would get the trust fund her father had left behind. She only has two problems. Cara is her mother's favoured daughter, so running into her was inevitable. And then there was Arwyn, Cara's best friend's older brother. He seemed to always be around. And no matter how much Raven tried to resist, he was relentless. Intrigued by her. Will Raven and her mother finally settle things? Will Raven find out who caused the crash? And will Raven finally have her walls broken down? There's only one way to find out . . . join her on her journey.

This book needs editing, the first chapters aren't very good, but the story gets better as you read on! There was only one thing that Amelia White needed to do. Be invisible and never draw the attention of five boys. She has been avoiding them ever since she knew who they were, and she's not planning to be part of the game those boys play. At least, that was the plan until her feet changed it for her. Bumping into Caine Williams is not exactly the way you stay unnoticeable for those boys. She detests an emotionless, narcissistic, and selfish asshole. He's the most attractive boy she's ever seen, but he has a terrible personality. Everything just seems like a joke to him. Hopefully, this journey of heated conversations and stupid fights turns out to be positive, and there's no need for any more hearts to shatter. Nevertheless, bad boys are unpredictable and dangerous, and there will be no insurance for broken hearts and unfixable relationships. But there's no need for insurance if the hate Amelia feels towards him is stronger than the tiny piece of possible love she feels in her heart, right? Caine will definitely regret opening the chase on her when he finds out it's not worth it. At least, that was what Amelia thought. Bumping into Caine Williams was certainly not the plan. That's the only thing that's for sure. Amelia knows that she can say goodbye to the plan of staying invisible, thanks to her clumsiness, and she'll have to say hello to his world with trouble and problems.
