Trepidation of The Red Sand

Shiromaru Takani is the sole survivor of a destroyed nation, his village, the village hidden in the rivers, was assaulted by a single ninja, though hundreds of bodies rained from the sky. It was the work of a single man, a young ninja in his prime with hair as red as the blood he spilled across the nation. A single, dust covered man who commanded an entire army through a cavity in his chest, Sasori of the red sand, master of a hundred puppets.

This is Shiro's story, a story of survival, anger, betrayal and perhaps even love as he is taken to the hidden mist village to undergo his training, but nothing is ever as easy as it seems, and the slaughter of his village may be just the beginning of his struggle through life, something he soon realizes when his team meets a strange, snakelike man who claims to know their past and offers help in his goal of revenge.
