A year after the incident, Keith was left to live with his boyfriend Shiro and his friends at a colleg campus. Keith is a senior in high school, very smart, he's an artist, but he suffers from ptsd and severe depression.
Lance was just transfered to Altea High after being kicked out of his old high school. He's a social flirt, but has a kind heart.
Lance has taken a liking to Keith, but Keith has a dark past he likes to keep hidden until Lance hears about it from the students in school who spead nasty rumors.

However, Lance is distracted by his ex-girlfriend being there as well and seeks comfort in alcohol and the only familiar face he trusts himself to be around during that time- Alters bartender, Keith.
