What do you say to someone who seems to have changed overnight?

River "Breezy" Josephine Samuels is your typical teenager. That is if she weren't so average. Standing at a height of five-foot-two with perfect posture and weighing ninety pounds when soaking wet, the eighteen year old is used to getting a bit more than physically shoved around.

Unmotivated for most things, lover of sleep, and an ever constant yearning to stay off of people's radar, Breezy has managed to stay in the middle zone for the most part for the past four years of her high school years.

Two months before her school's winter break, a stray thought crossed her mind. She dismissed it quickly with practiced ease, but this time it rang in a foreboding fashion in the back on her mind. As time passed, it became ever stronger until it could not be ignored any longer.

"I'm not happy with myself. I don't like what I've become. I don't like who I am. Nothing I do seems worthwhile. I don't want to be tired anymore."

Only days until the winter break is to start, Breezy tentatively begins to plan, not knowing what she's setting in motion for herself - and consequently those around her.
