After Clementine finds herself dead, she wakes up in a different world... one where the dead never started walking. However, nobody else seems to remember the reality that had been her life until then. All that she can do is try to fit in with the rest of this new place, which proves to be harder than it sounds.  Familiar faces will return, but not quite the same as they were in the post apocalyptic universe.  Meanwhile, back in her old world, the kids must cope with her death and learn how to survive without such a key ingredient to survival.  How will they do it?
So, basically it's sort of like an AU except Clem remembers the apocalypse.
This is a Louis x Clem thing!
Also, the first five chapters were written BEFORE ep 4 was released.

Clementine dies shortly after meeting Louis, when she dies she leaves AJ in the care of the pianist, along with her diary containing her story. Louis falls asleep reading it, and when he wakes up, he realizes that time has reversed and he is back in the beginning of his world. He is not sure if Clementine went back too, or if AJ will remember them when they arrive- if they even arrive that is, so Louis changes. He decides to step up and lead the group, as under Marlon's "guiding hand" more of them died than flourished, armed with the knowledge of the future -or at least his old future- Louis is sure that he can change the outcome this time. Along his journey a few things are added to spice up his new future, and he cannot help but worry if the mesmarizing teen with the name of an orange will show up. After her death, Clementine wakes up in her childhood room, on the day her old world ended. At first she thinks it was all a horrible- and at some times good- dream, then the news is clicked on mistakenly, and she is certain. More hopeful for a second chance to get things done right, she decides up in her treehouse to be 100 percent honest with Lee when he shows up, and together they change the fate of some of their group members. When Clementine meets up with Louis, they play it cool, until they reveal to each other that they remember. Then they begin to truly get to know one another, and uncover feelings along the way.

I'm gonna see how this goes but I am thinking of doing some crossover between the last of us and the walking dead. Y/n will be bitten early on and is immune like Ellie which will be interesting. I will give more description about him in the prologue and the other characters involved depending on when they first appear in the story. I'll add more intense romance and spicier stuff when they're older. I am thinking of keeping Kenny alive past Season 2 and I am going to give him a actual role and lines pass season 2 and I'm not going to have him steal Clementines lines like in other stories that keep Kenny alive past season 2. And depending on what direction the story goes I might keep other characters alive from season 1 and maybe from season 2 if i think they are interesting enough but that won't guarantee their survival forever. Y/n is the same age as Clementine in the first season 8 years old. He is 6 days younger than her. I am thinking of making the characters stronger as the seasons go on and more on similar strength and skill levels with people from the last of us like Ellie, Joel and Abby. I am also thinking of also increasing the strength levels of the Walkers as the seasons go on. It's not going to be the the last of us it will still be the walking dead outbreak so I will still have the walkers need to be killed by destroying their brains and if people die without their brains being destroyed they will still come back as Walkers. But the walkers will get faster, stronger, smarter and more durable as time goes on like it may eventually take more than 1 headshot to kill a walker like the Zombies in Resident Evil. The story will start off slow and take a lot of time and effort but just be patient. Feel free to add your own opinions and thoughts on what I should maybe do to progress the story and if I like your idea I might do it and add it into the story.
