Heartless

Demons once lived on earth and when they were banished they left something behind. The Heartless descended from demons yet possessed enough human to remain on earth.
They've grown in power until they have become the feared assassins of the supernatural world that they are today. They keep creatures in line to prevent humans learning of their existence but a new threat is rising.
Cassandra is a Heartless but she's different. Stronger, more powerful and willing to make the hard choice. When she's paired with her mortal enemy to destroy the new threat she will begin to question everything she knows so far.
When the truth emerges she will need to see where her true loyalties lie and whether her heart is as cold as she thought it was.
