Summer's finally arrived and unlike any normal teenager Flora is dreading it, but then again who wouldn't when their best friend abandons them to go on holiday to Spain. For Flora the summer means spending two months in the middle of nowhere with the only people over the age of 80 being the builders next door. But when the mysterious boy, Jack, moves in next door, she can't help but try to befriend him despite his unfriendly nature. Unfortunately for Flora, Jack's determined to hate her guts and she's determined to find out why. Looks like summer finally got interesting. **Contains swearing, so if that's not your cup of tea, please don't read and take it out on me**

Summers are supposed to be that time of the year that you should look forward to. No school, hours at the beach, late night parties. What's not to love? Three words. My neighbor's grandson. For once in her life, Maliah Arias is looking forward to her summer. It's the summer before senior year and life couldn't be better. She has a hot college boyfriend, plenty of Dl soccer scholarship offers, and she just went through a massive glow up. To make matters better, her neighbor's annoying yet very hot grandson, Jackson Cruz, who usually visits every summer, is away in Europe. When circumstances change, Maliah finds herself once again in the presence of Jackson, who seems hell-bent on making her life miserable. Although as time passes, the two of them find themselves growing closer and closer, whether they like it or not. Tears are shed, hearts are broken, and Maliah finds herself wondering if she'll be able to survive the summer and make it to senior year.
