"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. After everything that happened in Australia, Miriam and her family decided to move to Beacon Hills from a job offer. my family took me on a family vacation to the beach to go swimming. we arrived at our beach house at midnight my family went to bed after eating dinner, but I wasn't tired so I stayed up until 3:51 am and went to bed. this will be my first time spending a vacation with my family, I love spending time reading story books in my room then interact with people. I made a deal with my mom that I would not read and if I win, she would buy me a few new stories to read but if I lose. my mom would take me to go shopping with her to buy news clothes for me,and she knows that I hate shopping for clothes with my parents! I rather shop on my own when I go out.Complete
A dream
We were alone in the dark, just the two of us, as the moonlight filtered in. It was just the two of us facing each other in the night, as it had always been. She looked at me reproachingly: "What are you waiting for?" "I'm not ready yet. It's dangerous." The same reply as always, an excuse, a lie. I knew. I knew there was no reason to wait. There had never been. I knew I had wings. I knew I could be free. I knew I could fly across the seas. But that was precisely why I had never done so. There was always tomorrow. Or maybe there wasn't. That would've been fine in its own way. And I kept making excuses until one day a letter arrived. And a few weeks later, the next. And the next and the next, they piled up to a small mountain. And every night, in the dark, the girl dressed in a yellow raincoat and yellow boots would hold them up to show me that the past was catching up to me, telling me that instead of running, I should welcome it as an old friend.
