She never knew her parents. Her mother was murdered by the villagers and her father is an unknown man. After years of abuse from the villagers she ran away. She went into the deepest part of the forest. There she met the beast. Raven wasn't scared of him. Instead she was intrigued. The beast thought the child was insane. She came every day to see him, chattering about nothing important. Over time he started to warm up to her. Through the years they developed a sort of friendship. But what will the two do when on her eighteenth birthday, the village priest decides that Raven would be the sacrifice for that year? Will the beast kill his friend like he did the others?
