(This takes place a little after the Bumblebee Solo movie) 

The year was 1989, no one knew when the cold war was going to end, but there was hope. Hope in him, the last thing to turn the tides of their war. His designation, B-127. 

Bumblebee had left her the summer of 1987, Charlie, the first human to welcome him on Earth, and like she said, others needed him, people needed him. So after leaving her he was reengaged with the army. This time on a warmer note. They needed his fire power, his ability to advance their technology in order for them to stop the Cold war. This time he knew what he needed to do, to help the people who needed him. 

"They're scared of you. They're scared of things they don't know."
