Asha has just arrived at the Island, the only place safe from the Old Wars that took her home. Built in the shell of an Old World town, it provides the perfect safe haven from the vast ocean that now surrounds her and the other children living there. It's a simple life: stay in the town, don't go into the ocean, and don't go into the forest. Their only goal now is to survive.
Perfect.
Until she finds out what makes it so imperfect.
