Después de la pelea entre ambos, la relación entre Izuko Midoriya y su actual compañero de clases y amigo de la infancia Katsuki Bakugou había mejorado significativamente, han intercambiado palabra en mas de una ocasión, ido juntos a ejercicios de entrenamiento e incluso trabajado juntos codo a codo todo esto a cambio de esforzarse para superarse el uno a otro como rivales.
