When small-town high schooler, Adeline Dayton receives a once-in-a-lifetime chance to bring her celebrity crush, Jacob Sartorius, to her school's winter formal, she expects a few days of stardom and an experience like no other. What she doesn't expect is the quiet connection that forms between them-- the stolen glances, the late-night conversation, or the way his presence feels much more natural than it should.

For four days, Jacob steps out of his spotlight and into her world, and Adeline sees the boy behind the fame-- the one who craves normalcy, who laughs at her terrible jokes, who looks at her like she's more than just a fan. And yet, neither of them dares to say what's really on their hearts.

But as the days fade and the real world calls to bring him back, the unspoken words between them grow heavier. Was it just a young, fleeting spark, doomed from the start? Or is she more to him than just another fan?

He was one, and now there were two. One with a pierced nose, the other without. They were so identical that no one could tell them apart. But then there was me.****** At Dale's High in Singapore, the brothers were impossibly handsome and perfectly identical. Wherever they went, alone or together, people couldn't help but stare, whispering about their charm, charisma, and impeccable fashion sense. Billionaires and heirs to the Red Dynasty in Asia, their presence commanded attention without even trying. Dale's High wasn't just a school; it was a sanctuary for the ultra-wealthy. Even the middle class dreamed of being admitted. With state-of-the-art facilities, world-class learning systems, and a reputation that held the number-one spot globally for twenty-three years, the school was a crowning achievement of the Red Dynasty empire, a dynasty built on oil, gold mining, and countless other ventures. The company was so prestigious that even the most connected struggled to get a single job there. The Red Dynasty had been meticulously built over thirty years by its founder, now in his sixties, a man whose name was known across continents. After decades of empire-building, he and his lawfully wedded wife had two identical sons, brothers so alike that even family members occasionally mixed them up. And then there was Sophia Anderson. Born and raised in America, she had relocated to Singapore with her mother for work. With the help of her uncle's funding, she gained admission to Dale's High, unaware that her life was about to collide with the Red Dynasty twins. What she didn't realize yet was that the brothers weren't just handsome, they played a game of obsession, rivalry, and desire. And when feelings started to stir, Sophia would discover the brutal truth: in a world where she couldn't tell them apart, being caught between them wasn't just dangerous, it was intoxicating..

Not everyone who walk together reaches the destination together. Sometimes, one is left behind. Sometimes, one has to break to complete the other. Silence is love's faithful companion. Love is nothing unless felt. It shows its presence silently, waiting patiently, lurking in the shadows of hearts. All this while, the silence as its faithful companion, holds its hand and bears every sigh, every torment, every skip of a heartbeat, every joy, and every glance with it. They complete each other and yet they don't, for love demands recognition. It requires confirmation and when the love has reached its peak, it pushes the silence down. Breaks it, steps over it, and shouts to the whole world the tale of its existence. And silence, it smiles watching the whole scene. But as it is said, silence in itself is the loudest cry. "I'll always love you too, Kayla," he said smiling at me and I placed my head on his shoulder. We sat in silence with our hearts at peace and filled with content. Can silence speak? Had someone asked me this question before I would never have been able to answer the question. But at this moment I knew the answer. Yes, silence can speak. It can talk volumes. Silence is the loudest music there is. If you listen carefully, you can hear each and every secret of the universe, every story that has ever been told from the beginning of time, every promise made to one another whispered swiftly into your ear. This silence was being the witness to the promise we made to each other. Kayla is a sweet, fun-loving girl. She has a huge crush on her friend. Aaron returns to school after two years. Her heart gets broken only to be put together again. She gave up on love only to find it again in one person she least expected from. She will find love where she least expects it from. *She wasn't looking for love - just snacks and a nap. But then he smiled...* ~True love? Unexpected. Emotional growth? Unwanted. Drama? Inevitable.~ Veronica D'Costa isn't exactly the main character type just - a regular teen: emotionally avoidant, chronically sarcastic, and fully committed to winging her way through life, with her loyal (and mildly chaotic) friend group. One night. One betrayal. That changed everything. Now Veronica's pretending, deflecting, and power-napping her way through emotions. But when a certain boy - golden-eyed, infuriatingly kind, and way too observant - starts asking the right questions, she'll have to do the one thing she's avoided all year: feel. Because surviving senior year means more than just acing math or mastering beer pong - it means facing what broke her, before she lets it define her. She's growing up. She's falling in love. And she might just be the main character after all. Messy, meaningful, and mildly chaotic - this is the year everything changes. Even her. P.S.- This isn't a fairy tale. It's a slightly sarcastic coming-of-age crisis.
