Bay gets completely and totally lost. She falls for the wrong guy constantly and feels like she can't rely on anyone. Derek adds more chaos and disfunction to her life, which she secretly loves. She doesn't know how to trust him, and he gives her plenty of reasons not to. But eventually she learns to just close her eyes, and let herself fall.

This is my first book ever. I started it when I was fifteen two years ago. It's been edited and changed a million times, I hope you like this version. The original will stay with only me. Please respect it, I know I'm not a grammar or speller queen but everything has its imperfections. Enjoy this book! I hope anyone can relate to this story because it's partially my own.

CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. "You're hurting me..." I whispered. But his grip only got tighter as the pain got even more crucial. "It's what you get for stopping the party yesterday," Liam said. "I needed to," I murmured under my breath in the hopes that he would hear the weakness in my voice and let me go. But at last, it was only hoped that made me think that way. He didn't let go; he wouldn't let go until he taught a firm lesson. No matter how many times I ask and plead for forgiveness, he is never going to go until he is satisfied. "Were you jealous that you weren't invited? Is that why you had to sabotage the whole thing, uh?" he bit his teeth, his voice getting angrier and his hold on me crushing. "Ow.. please...," I said tears rolling down my eyes. He didn't say anything this time just watched me cry, and I could basically see the smirk forming on his lips in slow motion. This is what he wanted for me as if it was never enough for him to see me like this. I waited for him to say something anything, but instead, he let me go aggressively and pushing past me hard, causing me to lose balance and fall to the marble floor. I looked up to see everyone watching me struggle to get up. No one came to help, and I didn't expect them to they watched and laughed and even filmed, but no one came to my rescue. - The fake smiles, laughter, friends I am getting sick of it all. I always felt like I didn't belong anywhere with him gone. It was even worse. It was pathetic that I thought it's okay I will get through this, but I am slipping away falling slowly. The only reason I am still holding on is for my family. But he hurts me, bullies me, breaks me in ways I can't even describe. He has become the worst nightmare, and I can't wake up from it. There is no helping me from his sick and twisted games. After all, he believes I was the reason for the death of his best friend. But I have to hold on only one more year till I don't have to see him anymore. I need to survive as an outcast...

*full available on Amazon. Free in KU.* Can you believe in someone who can't believe in himself? Maybe... Maybe I just wanted to get through Year 12, coaching, and soccer with no distractions. Maybe life had other plans. Maybe I shouldn't be drawn to Cole; the new guy who gets into fights and smokes. Maybe I should want to date Jaime; the nice, steady guy who's always been there. Maybe you can't help who you fall for, whether they're good for you or not. Maybe it shouldn't matter as long as you're happy. Maybe each new bruise on Cole's face is a reason to walk away. Maybe there's more to the secrets he hides and that's a reason to be there for him. Maybe a lifetime of pain can't be washed away by anyone else but you. Maybe finally proving that someone else isn't going to walk away is enough. Or, maybe it's time I got out of my own head and stopped wondering. Maybe it's time I just live by my own rules and find out the answers to all those maybes. It's time for no more maybes. A sweet YA romance about first love and learning to understand different experiences, this is Cole's story from Aurora's point of view. The companion novel, Gray's Blade, is from Cole's point of view; much like the characters themselves, Cole's version is darker, dirtier, and rougher. Read through to the end of No More Maybes for a sneak peek at chapter one of Cole's side. Please be aware that this story is set in Australia and therefore uses Australian English spelling and syntax.

COMPLETED, CURRENTLY EDITING/PARTIALLY REWRITING (please excuse the mess. Some of the plot is being changed so there might be a few areas that get confusing, nothing too much though) Funny how life decides to act like a roller coaster. The ups and down come in a split second. You can't decide whether you want fast or slow. Dangerous or steady. But you don't get a choice. You go with the flow. No matter what. I'm Phoenix Wood, the misfit, and outcast of my town. Instead of a roller coaster my life's more like a train wreck. My adventure loving parents were lost at sea and I was left to my aunt Clare Small. Like I said, train wreck... Not roller coaster, TRAIN WRECK. Not to mention the fact that I end up stuck with the bad boy. Could it get any worse? Secrets unravel and life gets a bit more complicated that it used to be. But it must go on. She's stuck with the bad boy. Or is it the other way around? Maybe he's stuck with the bad Girl... * WARNING: this book is my first work, it'll be a bit rough at the start and sometimes I'll accidentally mess up the story line or it will seem ridiculously stupid, so read at your own risk (I will admit, this book is like my baby, so please be kind when correcting my errors). It gets much better about half way through. If you'd like to read a book of mine that is much better written, go to my profile and find the book Breathe Me. Thanks! (Seriously though, there's a TON of mistakes, some made because I'm currently editing, so the story line could get confusing in some places) Originally published: 2 / 13 / 2014 Completed: 1 / 9 / 2017 Finished Editing: (Not finished yet) Highest rank: #303 in Teen Fiction (1-10-2017)

A/N - There are many spelling and grammar mistakes - I apologise, also this was written when I was a teen so this story is so beyond reality. Thanks. Rose Quinten is the daughter of an ex-Navy seal turned security for the rich and famous. After a tragic life in England they up and move to sunny California where she meets the bad boy at a party when a guy tried to force himself on her he saves her, keeping her safe in a room they play games all night then things get heated. Rose unknowingly meets the family of the guy she slept with. Rose is in for one hell of an adventure and also gets more than she bargained for in the end. Comments - "I have to say this is a sweet romance that brings the wonders of being a new mom (dad) in to it, Its a romance that id read again (I've already read it a couple of times XD) I love how she (rose) is not like everyone else I've read. Its refreshing, I mean she's strong, hard-headed (at times) And witty. Its funny reading about how she boss's everyone around (in a good way of course) the Adventures. The tell of a girl turning in to the women she is to day. Its breath taking, I'm gonna stop now before I say to much, But its a good book that can make you laugh just as fast as it can make you cry.... Ok for real I'm stopping (lol) But its a wonderful read" - arrow1616 #5 in Teen Fiction out of 243k Stories - 03 Oct 2020 #3 in Teen Fiction out of 254k Stories - 25 Apr 2022 © This book is of my own creation and I reserve all rights to it. | N O T • E D I T E D | CAUTION: There are a lot of spelling and grammatical mistakes in this book, since I wrote it when I was in the 10th grade. I will edit this book once I complete by incomplete books, that are still pending. But, feel free to read this book. The storyline us good, so I've been told. _______________________________________________ She fell for him, even when she knew he was a player, even when he was busy playing with other girls hearts. A girl and boy can never be "Just Friends", because at the end of the day, they grow a relationship much stronger than just friendship, it can't be called 'friendship', but is it LOVE, or is it too early to call it that? _______________________________________________
