En un mundo dónde la humanidad ha alcanzado su límite tecnológico, es puesto en marcha un proyecto denominado "Transhumanismo" con la esperanza de que esto resuelva su actual conflicto bélico con un grupo sectario extremista. Se llevaron a cabo múltiples experimentos dónde la capacidad biológica fue puesta a prueba. La modificación genética permitió obtener una nueva especie de humanos evolucionados en Inteligencia, fuerza y habilidades únicas, eran apenas la punta del iceberg para todo aquello que ahora era posible. Aún así, la humanidad está destinada a repetir sus propios errores y es a través de ojos nuevos que por fin podrán entenderlo.

This peace was shattered when human scientists betrayed the trust of the Cantari by creating Artificial Maidens, synthetic beings designed to surpass the original Cantari. This revelation caused a conflict between humans and Cantari, leading to the birth of three distinct colonies: one consisting of both humans and Cantari trying to coexist, another made up only of humans and Artificial Maidens, and a secluded human colony that chose to remain hidden from the war. The bloodlust of the war slowly withered the holy tree, which had once held each territory connected. Eventually, the tree began to decay completely, causing the earth to become unstable. Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Concluída
