Anthony Parish has always been the average boy, especially with his siblings.  He's the one who's always gotten straight C's instead of straight A's.  The one who's not captain of any sports team, but plays on them.  The one who's not the meanest or the nicest.  Just in the middle, where it's safest.

When bad girl, Cecilia Brooks, comes along, she teaches him how to live and how to not be just "average."  Rather than throwing herself at the hot popular Parish boy, she befriends him and teaches him the rules to "loosing yourself."
