When a high school football player gets a bad injury during the first game, he's devastated that he'll be out for the season. However, a visit to the guidance counselor lets him face what's been truly bothering him: the death of his brother. In finally getting closure, he opens himself up to new people to experience triumph, love, and hardship along his journey to get drafted into the NFL.

This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
