Emersyn Inouye is an immortal fae/lycanthrope hybrid living the high life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin running her three businesses with no time for the attentions of men. Elfrida Ghentrie, an elf/lycanthrope hybrid and Emersyn's best friend is kidnapped while investigating the disappearances of females from the local women's shelter.

While looking for her missing friend, Emersyn is shot by the men who took Elfrida and the only way for her to survive is to get help from a male who has a deep hatred for the fae. Meanwhile Elfrida finds the missing females in the cage where she is also being held.

As if things couldn't get more complicated the full moon is rising and with it the dangerous moon fever. Can Emersyn find her friend before the call of the moon is too much to bear?
