Emily Roberts is normal. At least that's what everyone thinks. She has struggled with the memory of her family's death since she was 11. Since then she has been in and out of foster homes and in and out of therapist's offices, but her past still haunts her. 
On the night of her 18th birthday, instead of partying, she tries to commit suicide after going through both mental and physical struggles for years. 
But right before she jumps, someone stops her. 
Someone who can show her that not everything is bad in her world.
