Four men made a special promise to each other, linked by a magical amulet said to have great power. This amulet is at the heart of their bond and is believed to be able to change their destinies. The title of that promise is "the Sanguine pact".

Haider emerged from the shadows, as he got even closer to her, his tall frame cloaked in darkness. His eyes, once filled with warmth, now held a storm of conflicting emotions. Saadia's breath hitched as she recognized the man who had haunted her dreams-the man who had confessed his love to her, his voice trembling with raw intensity.
"Saadia," he murmured, his voice a velvet caress. "I never wanted it to come to this."
She took a step back, her anklets jingling like distant bells.
What is he going to do?
"You will have to marry me" His gaze bore into hers,
She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. "I was promised to another. You knew this, how dare you enter my house, leave, RIGHT NOW" she yelled.
He closed the distance between them, that she create moments ago, his fingers brushing against the edge of her veil. "And yet, when I confessed my love, you didn't turn me away. Your eyes-they betrayed you, Saadia. They held the same fire that burned within me."
Her heart raced. "I don't understand."

Before she could apprehend Haider had already seized her wrist, pulling her out of the room toward the stairs. His strength surprised her; he carried her on his shoulders as if she weighed nothing. Saadia's pleas fell on deaf ears. She had fought, clawing at his grip, hitting his back but he was unyielding. The world outside blurred as he carried her away from her home, away from Edan, away from everything she held dear.

Book 2 ── .✦ (Not a Standalone) "Mere paas aur koi rasta nahi tha" Ardian finally responded, the weight of his own guilt pushing through. "Unhone... unhone mujhe aapki qasam di thi, Eshal. Mai kaise woh tod sakta tha?" "Toh kya woh qasam unki zindagi se zyada ahm thi?" she demanded, voice trembling with fury and heartbreak. She took a step forward and shoved him-hard. "Kya woh qasam itni ahm thi ki mai unke saath hie na hoti agar kuch ho jata?" Another shove, more forceful this time. Her chest heaved, eyes glistening with tears that refused to fall. "Kya woh qasam itni ahm thi ki mai unhein alvida bhi na keh pati?" She pushed him again, almost stumbling herself. Then came the storm. She slammed her fists onto his chest, not out of anger, but out of desperation. Pain. Grief. Betrayal. "Aap mere saath aisa kaise kar sakte hai?" she cried, each word torn from her soul as she kept hitting him-again, and again, and again. He just stood there, letting every blow land, letting her anger pour out of her like a dam breaking. And when she finally stopped, her shoulders shaking with sobs-he gently reached forward and took her hands in his. He began massaging them softly. His touch was featherlight. Tender. Like she was the one who'd been wounded. Not him. She yanked her hands back as if his touch burned her. Shoved him gently, voice hoarse. "Dhoor rahein." He took a small step back, pain flickering in his eyes. "Mai aap par bharosa karna seekh rahi thi," she whispered, her voice cracking. "Lekin ab... ab mai nahi kar sakti. Aap woh shakhs nahi hein jispar mai bharosa kar sakoon." The words hit like bullets. Something behind his eyes cracked, months of trust and softness they had built reduced to rubble with just one sentence.

Finally, he found her in the locker room, and without wasting a second or giving a second thought, he ran to her and hugged her. She was stunned and stiffened at her place with her eyes wide open in shock and surprise by his sudden hug. Her heart started beating erratically. "Thank you so much, my lucky charm." Prikshit didn't hold back his emotions this time and said what was in his heart. Was it just excitement or something else? He doesn't know. But hearing the particular word 'Lucky Charm,' Mihika was frozen in her place. Nothing came out of her mouth, and she was numb. This man is calling her lucky charm when her whole life she just heard that she is nothing but a bad omen. Prikshit broke their hug and kept saying in one breath in excitement what he was feeling while she was just standing there dumbfounded, "I was so nervous that how would I do it alone, but your presence did everything right, and your words made my nervousness and fear disappear. You said what I actually wanted to hear. I did my life's first critical surgery successfully only because of you, my lucky charm. Thanks for being there for me." Tears gathered in her eyes on their own, sinking his words, and he was about to palm her face when a nurse came towards the locker room, calling him. "Doctor Prikshit, the daughter of the patient, wants to have a word with you." "I am coming." He turned to answer the nurse, and she left, but when he turned again, Mihika was gone. He sighed helplessly and walked out of the locker room. •~•~ This one is the spin-off series of my two books. "Why don't you understand, Mr. Agnihothri?" The words were torn from my throat, raw and desperate. "I am not the one who is made for love. Don't try to heal me, Shiv. I'm telling you, you will only break yourself in that process," I screamed, the sound catching and splintering with a deep, shaky breath. But the expected anger, the frustrated retreat, never came. Instead, his gaze-intense, impossibly tender-met mine, and a small, maddeningly serene smile touched the corner of his lips. It was a silent challenge, a soft denial that made the fragile control I held on my sanity begin to crumble. "Let's stop this here, please," I whispered, the desperate plea barely audible, the fight draining from me. "You deserve someone whole, someone pure, not a shattered, half-broken glass doll like me." The confession was an admission of defeat, and a single, traitorous tear-hot and heavy-escaped the dam of my composure, tracing a path down my cheek. Something fractured in his placid facade. The smile vanished, replaced by a sudden, fierce darkness. He shut his eyes, his jaw clenching as he inhaled a deep, steadying breath, a visible battle raging to master a sudden, barely contained fury. Then, in a single, predatory movement, he erased the space between us. He captured my shoulders, his grip not cruel, but intensely demanding, and pushed me firmly back against the cool, unforgiving drywall. The sudden pressure was intoxicating, trapping me between the solid surface and his unyielding body. Slowly, deliberately, he leaned in, his intent palpable, until his mouth was almost touching my ear. "Saanvi," his voice was a low, resonant rumble, a silken promise laced with a dangerous possessiveness, "Even the breath I take when you are near me is elixir (Amrit) for my soul." His lips brushed my skin as he spoke the last word, the sheer intimacy of the contact sending a wildfire racing through my veins and igniting my heart into an uncontrollable inferno.

⚠️This story is a work of fiction and explores themes based on cultural traditions, emotional struggles, and personal transformation. She stormed out to the garden. "Say something!" she snapped, eyes burning. "Or are you still playing that 'I'm-too-pure-to-talk' game? Still pretending to be holy?" And that's when Raif moved. Fast. Zariah didn't even have time to blink before her back hit the nearby pillar - not hard, but firm enough to freeze her breath. His hand gripped her waist tightly, the other at her wrist, locking her in place. His chest pressed to hers. His face was inches from hers. His voice was deep. Controlled. But deadly serious. "It's no longer like always, Zariah." Her lips parted. "I used to ignore you because I knew my limits. I'm not like those men who flirt and sin and call it love. I feared Allah more than I ever desired you." His eyes narrowed, dark fire glowing behind them. "I didn't punish you back then because I respect women - even when they spit venom. I kept my mouth shut, not because I was weak... but because you weren't my mahram. I had no right to look at you, touch you, even speak without reason." He leaned closer, and she could feel his breath brush her cheek. "But now..." His grip on her tightened, and her body trembled - not from fear, but from the intensity in his words. "Now you are my wife. Now, you belong to me. Halal. Lawful. Mine." Zariah tried to turn her face away, but he caught her chin, tilting it back to him. "Now I can do anything I want. I can touch you. I can silence your insults without guilt. And I can show you what it means to be owned in a way that'll make you crave it again." His lips brushed her neck, just for a second - before he bit her. Not soft. Not brutal. But just enough to sting, enough to leave a mark. Zariah gasped, frozen. He pulled back just a little. "This-" he said, brushing his thumb over the fresh mark on her neck, "-is the first of many."

Book 2 "Anything?" He whispered smirking again. "Yes." She whispered shakily, knowing what the possibilities could be. "I want children." He stated, continuing to caress her neck with his lips. She bit her lip as they trembled. It was the one thing she didn't want yet, but if it meant she would be allowed to go to University then she would do it. She nodded in response, unable to say the word. He stopped and grabbed her hand, tugging her up to their room. She obediently climbed on the bed and laid down in the middle, closing her eyes tightly. Samir straddled her thighs, biting his lip as he stared down at his wife. She was beautiful. She wasn't skinny, but she wasn't fat either. She was somewhere in between, her stomach had a soft curve to it and she was gifted at the top and bottom. He spread her legs, pushing his muscly thigh between hers, leaning over her again. Behind her closed eyes, she could feel tears of fear forming at what would happen. He was touching her rather gently, she preferred if he would just hurry and finish the process, but it seemed he had other ideas. "I'm going to impregnate you one after the other baby-doll." He whispered in her ear, biting her earlobe. She gasped, opening her eyes wide. "I won't be able to study!" She stated shocked as she felt his warm fingers tickle her stomach. "Too late. You already agreed." He smirked against her neck. ♡°•●○___________________________○●•°♡ Zahara, a sweet girl who has just turned 18, was very bright and had a lot of hopes and dreams for her future.
