Moving into a new town causes huge problems for the usually off setted Kaylee. In a place in the middle of nowhere, she feels as if this is the end for her hopes of having an average life with her grandmother following her father and her mother's sudden disappearance.

However, through fated grocery appearances and summer jobs, she comes across who might be what she'd call "a living android"-Lilac, the girl who lived in the graveyard.

With the graveyard girl's neutral expression and rather grim attitude, Kaylee couldn't help but fall in love with just those little things.
