The wind ruffled my hair and shivered me in a displeasing manner.
My insides were shaking, my breath faltering. My body felt weak and I could feel my consciousness slipping away.
Leaves and twigs crunched beneath my feet as I forced myself to walk away from this chilly forest.
I was in the middle of nowhere and I didn't have any idea how I got here.
But a gasp made its way out of my mouth as I heard a howl sounding through the damp atmosphere of the forest. A flash of memory wavered through my mind.
