"They live in a secret world touched by magic and surrounded by nature, and the only human who has ever been there must now fight to save it." The magical inhabitants of a rainforest fight to save their home that is threatened by logging and a polluting force of destruction.

This story is based on Bill Kroyer's animated children's film 'FernGully: The Last Rainforest'. I really wanted to try out a children's theme so thought I'd utilise this idea and novelise it. Check out the film, it's brilliant!

When Umi's beloved husband Shani is grabbed by the Soulbiters, he is prepared to do anything to save him from the gruesome fate that awaits if he is bitten. Anything at all. Even strike a horrible bargain with the beasts.
