The sands of time do not stop for anyone... but for Kiyoi they seem to have stilled. Or, more correctly put, the sands resting at the bottom of life's hourglass have vanished, leaving behind only a few grains to proof their existance.

Shinki's story
Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. However, at birth, he was blessed with the power to manipulate sands and soon created his own iron sand to control similar to that of the 3rd Kazekage. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life? FYI: This is undergoing rewrites and will have a separate book for reading. By the time I'm done with rewrites it probably won't look like this, and I'm hoping it will be vastly better.
