It was in the year 1410, during the Joseon Era, when King HwanJeong ruled all over Korea, together with his Queen, Queen Myeong Gi. They made a peaceful reign, until jealousy enveloped King HwanJeong's brother, Prince Jun Seong. Since everyone in Korea loved the King, the Queen, and even their Daughter Min Seo, and their two sons Jeong Eun (Song Joong Ki), and Tae Guk (Kim Soo Hyun), Prince Jun Seong could not make a riot to overthrow the King. He asked for Shaman Shim Ha Neul's help to curse The King and his family. A curse where all of them will never be able to set foot under the sun. A Curse where they will crave for human lives.
