You had to run away.

You didn't know where you'd stay or what would happen to you, but one thing was sure: you could never go back to Them.

As you were in a train station, you were invited, or rather dragged, by a weirdly joyful man who couldn't help but show everyone pictures of his wife and daughter. His name: Maes Hughes. He brought you in, taught you how to defend yourself, fed you and made sure you had everything you ever needed.

But with the numerous attacks throughout Amestris, you had to take matters into your own hands even if the truth behind the acts revealed themselves to be even more horrifying than you could imagine.

You had to do it because there were people you needed to protect.
