"Every time i hear you cry or hurt, it sounds like a symphony of pain"

Melody Mora, twin of Mabel Mora, meets the mysterious Jonah Marais and becomes roommates with him, both attending boarding school. Jonah doesn't speak or interact with anyone, hiding under his hood and never meeting anyone's eye, but Melody is determined to find out his secrets and possibly help him out. Melody also has another online friend, J, other wise known as Jace. But epiphany hits her and everything, isn't what it is 4 years ago. With Melody's chaotic family, deceased mother, adopted sister, mysterious love life, how does she conquer everything? Or does she give up, and leave many with broken hearts and tears filled with sorrow?

This is a branch off of Never Let Go. This gives some background knowledge of Mabel's twin, Melody and Jonah's behaviour throughout the story. This was obviously about the past of Never Let Go and the twisted theories that may answer some of you guys's questions. I suggest you this one before reading Never Let Go since Never Let Go may have some spoilers for the plot of this story

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19
