Carrying the bag pack, I run. I run from the man I love. The man who is the father of my unborn children. I brush past the security check, giving my ticket to the girl sitting outside the entry of the plane.
She smiles at me. Fake. I smile back and pull the ticket from her outstretched hand, and rush to the entrance of the plane. That's weird. The whole plane is empty.
I turn back, and there he is. Adrian Donati, my husband, the love of my life.
"Please don't stop on my account." He says pinning me with his piercing greys.
I look around. Escape tattooed in my brain. But I find none.
"What did you think, that you could run from me and take my children with you?" He says getting up as he buttons his suit jacket.
"They are not yours. You lost any right over them when you left me at the altar. Now they're just mine." I say, all sense leaving me.
"Oh I got all rights over them, since the day my sperm made them up. And kitten, you're still my wife remember. This is not over." He says walking close to me. Way too close.
Pulling me close by my waist, he rests his head on the crook of my neck, his lips brushing my skin ever so lightly as he speaks.
"Quit running from me and come home. You're straining yourself and my children." He says as if it is the most normal thing to do.
