Mamés has just one year. One year to get his life together. One year to finally make a decision. To stay or to leave. Rochford can't contain his dreams of music but the problem is it contains just about everything else-his child-like mother, the love of his life, and all his friends. He needs to make a change.

And that change comes in the form of Ana Wang, a nineteen-year-old film director. She is in Rochford to film a movie but somehow ends up falling in love with Mamés music. After that, she is determined to do whatever it takes to turn Mamés into a star.
