Winter is a mercenary, in technical terminology. With her phone she can hack anything and everything, or so she thought. Everything has it's limits right? She is haunted by a hacking attempt from two years back, one that she thought was successful, and it was, for some time.   But the victims of the hack have finally found her and want revenge, but at the same time, they want revenge on another hacker, one that is widely known to almost everyone but Winter. Coming from the small town of Pawnee, she's not very ' up to date ' with the hackers of Chicago.   Using her as bait to lure another hacker, the kidnappers, referred to as Mr.Quinn thinks his plan is perfect, planning to kill Winter after he's finished with the other hacker. Little does he know, being as old as he is and thinking he can do anything and succeed at doing it, that he's underestimated the two hackers. Winter is desperate to escape, but she wants her revenge. Little does everyone know though,   Everything and everyone has their limits.

She has a slight fear of Victor. - Emiel is Juliette's partner and would do anything to protect her. He's quite jealous, but only when necessary. He's a real man, not a boy. - Victor occasionally throws a challenging look at Emiel, as if silently daring him. Emiel feels more and more uncomfortable. Victor is very smart and cunning, and he would do anything to win Juliette over, convincing her that Emiel isn't right for her, but that he himself is. Victor is the most unreliable, clever, and sly guy. He has his eye on Juliette but makes it all too obvious. He must and will convince her to be with him, showing her that he's the only right one... though that's not actually the case. - Robbe is the smart one in the group. - Gina is clairvoyant. - Amber, who watches all of this unfold, often plays calming melodies on her harp. She has an intuitive gift to sense when tensions rise, and her music usually keeps the group in balance. There is romance, violence, and coarse language, so sensitive readers are warned!!
