Andy Hoult was an average eighteen year old. He wasn't the brightest, the most attractive, nor the most popular. Standing in the middle of things, he was happy. He never met his mom, but his father Arnold loved and spoiled him, together with his cousin Tucker who's practically his brother. Life was good until it wasn't. Andy comes home from school one afternoon to discover the body of his father hanging from the ceiling fan. A note lying on the foot of the stool he must have stood on. All he remembers is screaming, crying, and then 9-1-1. The Hoult suicide tragedy became the talk of the town. Suddenly, Andy wasn't in the sidelines anymore. He was dumped in front of the public eye. The gossip, the faux sympathy, and the pity. People can only take so much right before they snap. A quick and private funeral later, with pesky reporters competing for a statement outside, Andy pairs up with his cousin Tucker. Together they travel to Briarville to live with their estranged aunt Melody in the hopes of starting their lives all over again. But what if Arnold's death wasn't really a suicide? And what if his murderer was in love with his son? © Copyright 2014 All rights reserved.
