At the end of Reynolds Street, this castle has been there for more than a hundred and fifty years. It used to be the private residence of Nelson Gilbert Reynolds in 1859. He was the sheriff of Ontario County. Of course he spent a fortune at the time to build it. It wouldn't otherwise be the largest private dwelling in Canada until Casa Loma was built in 1914. Today, this castle is a private boarding girl school with students from all over the world. Laughter are shared, some tears are secretly shed. Who knows their sorrows, who knows their pain? Who knows their dreams and who shares their love? Perhaps the trees, the flowers, the squirrels, or maybe and the birds? For they overheard all conversations that are most private. ****** This is a collection of inspirational Short Stories

My father brought out his long glinting sword and plunged it into my mothers stomach. It seemed the second time was more painful than the first. It was like the reassurance that nothing was okay. That my mother really does die, that my father really is the bastard I know him to be. There's no escaping my future anymore. Growing up is the only way out. I pushed Mrs. Havisham away from me and fought out of Damon's iron grip. I stalked towardsmy father and his evil, hysterical grin. He opened his arms as if to hug me. I raised my sword and plunged it deep into his stomach. His face turned from a grin to shock and he looked down at his stomach to find the sword I was still holding implanted in his flesh. He looked back up at me and I pulled the sword out sharply, mercilessly. His face turned into a sick grimace which made waves of horror pass through my body. He fell to the ground just in front of my mother. A single tear ran down my cheek. I looked down at my mother and father, both dead, at my hand. Both bleeding because of a stupid peice of silver. Fighting. Fighting for freedom, for her life and for her friends. Fighting is all Jessica can do anymore because if she doesn't fight, her life with slowly crumble around her. Jessica was an ordinary girl until she came to Dean House but then again I suppose irony is sweet. She found she was a witch and a powerful one at that. She finds she has to bring down her father no matter what it costs, an arm, a leg, a life, even when it's her own mothers she can never stop. Fighting is the only things he knows now and a fighter she is.
Alexander, Carly, and the Blood Farm by BenGamer2496

In Bradford High School in Georgia, and in the town itself, Alexander could easily be considered one of, if not the school's best basketball underdog. But in more recent times, all of that may be thrown out the window all together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Bradford, Georgia, everything seems and feels different than the rest. The townspeople there are known for four main things. Camping, hiking, and fun around the two local lakes, mass wildlife hunting, the basketball players at its highschool, and it's tragedy from the mid-19th century resulting in its many overlooked adaptations during the time of Autumn around the date of the accident. However, things begin to stir up once a pair of sisters show up with unknown and unclear intentions. But soon, they attract the attention of Alexander Phillips, referred to as one of the Bradford Baskatball Heros of the school's basketball team. Not long after though, several citizens are found dead with a murderer left on their town's hands. Luckily, it doesn't take very long for Alexander, the younger sister Carly, and many others to realize what's going on behind the curtain, leaving them in a race against time to save their town and maybe even the world from the paranormal wrath of the tragedy's fallout. This work is inspired by (including but not limited to): "Stranger Things" by the Duffer Brothers, "Scary Stories to tell in the dark" by CBS Films, Halloween Kills by Universal Pictures, and likely a lot more that I didn't mention(but if you see your/someone else's content, I DIDN'T WILLINGLY COPY THEM OK).

This isn't Tiff Sheridan's best day. Not only is it a muggy and humid July, but her rat stole a golf cart, her least-favorite Black Robes Division agent showed up at the police station, and now she absolutely has to go to a tiny town across the Canadian border to track down a necromancer and serial killer named Boris Covington. Plus, Kepler ate poison and she can't stop botching social situations. It's par for the course, but that doesn't mean she likes it. Neither does Elton Castle, a local from Beaverdell, Canada. Reeling from a botched social endeavor of his own and-- relatedly-- pining for his American best friend, Elton is looking for a paranormal distraction from his current romantic woes, a fun way to spend his day off, and an eventual escape from his mother's house. If that involves ghosts, then so be it. He and his trusty right-hand-dog, Dingus, have definitely seen weirder things. With Elton determined to figure out who this freaky American girl Dale Cooper-ing his town really is and what she's up to and Tiff frantically trying to find Boris Covington, defend Elton, and keep her cool in the face of a returning foe, the slow burn of the murderous necromancer's sticky, papayous influence eats the wick toward the wax and begs the question: do they sell pancakes at Canadian diners? Why do you think they wouldn't? Can you survive your own death and still call yourself human? What's inside the most haunted house in Beaverdell?

Janus Viper was once a handsome king, a cruel ruler that ruled his Kingdom with an iron fist. Even though he had everything he ever wanted since he was born (except, perhaps, love) he taxed his people relentlessly in order to fill his castle with the most beautiful objects, and his parties with the most powerful people. One day, a weak and homeless old man visits Janus, seeking shelter from the storm. Janus turns the man away, repulsed by his appearance, and as punishment, a curse is placed on Janus and his castle. Janus is turned into a monster, with six arms, claws, venomous fangs, and scales covering half of his body. The servants of the castle and all his guests were turned into furniture, as punishment for sitting by and doing nothing while the Prince grew into the cruel King he is today. However, there is a cure for the curse. If Janus can learn to truly love another and be loved in return, the curse will be cured. As the years went by, the castle and everyone in it became forgotten, and Janus lost hope. For who could ever love someone as cold and monstrous as him? Meanwhile, in a small village nearby, a Wizard named Logan Foster is looked down on by his town for his startling intelligence, difficulty in social situations, and his practices of magic. That doesn't deter Roman Prince from attempting to court Logan, however, because even if he is odd, Logan is the most handsome man in the village, and Roman has always enjoyed a challenge. Not wishing for his son to be alone, Patton Foster agrees to give Roman his blessing. Logan, who doesn't wish to get married, runs away from home. He plans to build a cabin in the forest and live the rest of his days there, but instead he finds a castle, where he is invited to stay as a guest. (Yes changing the captive part you're welcome) He isn't sure yet who the Castle's Master is, but based on the talking furniture that allowed him to stay here, he assumes it's a fellow Wizard.
