One day during school she meets a boy named Clancy.
He seemed so familiar, but she just couldn't put her finger on it.
Anna always saw him writing in a journal and one day he leaves it behind. He never came back to school again.
What Anna finds in Clancy's journal will bring back memories and change her life forever.

Tyler is alone in the city of Dema. He can't remember who he was before then. All he knows now is trying to survive in this world. He sees others around him who are struggling too, and he wants to help them. But he can't. He can't even seem to help himself. He keeps thinking he sees his best fren, Josh, but he's still not sure if its really him or if the city has finally driven him insane. His life now is nothing but fear. And there doesn't seem to be a way to fix that. Maybe there is...but maybe there isn't. The thing is, he's too afraid to find out. Fear is how they control you. The bishops. They see everything you do. And they want to destroy you. So don't bother fighting. They'll come for you. They'll come for you when you least expect it. Possible trigger warning: self-harm/suicide. This story is about overcoming that and overcoming depression. But it might be triggering to some readers. I'll add trigger warnings to those parts. On multiple occasions, their confrontations have become physical, some of them becoming full on fights. One night following a game, their hatred erupts in a way neither of them saw coming. WARNING: There is a massive amount of smut in this book. If you do not want to read smut, do not read this book, because there is a hell of a lot of smut. Chapters with smut will be labeled with an (M) on them, showing that they are mature. If you don't want to read smut, please just skip those chapters. IMPORTANT: The characters start out 18, but there are clear inconsistencies. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too.
