Amanda Cormack is one of the most honored homicide detectives in all of New York. An unfortunately not-so-uncommon case pops up in her lap. A dead twenty-four year old, raped and murdered. Amanda plans to crack the case and put the asshole behind bars. But of course, things never go as planned. And although from the case, it seems like a common occurrence, this murderer isn't going to give in easily, and bodies are going to pile up. So they'll have to play a game of murder.
