A young girl named Rose is stripped of her loved ones by some of the strongest vampires in America. Faced with being a failure and coming face to face with her biological father(now a notorious vampire) she joins young Abraham and Henry. Rose's destiny is to rise up against the South and her father. But she mustn't forget she was born with a great power that, if turned, will make her something more than just an ordinary Vampire. Will she defeat this great darkness? And will she be turned into one of them in the process?
