Lipstick

I liked purple lipstick. I liked the way it contrasted with the pale skin of my face, and the dark black of my hair. I liked the names the corporate big-wigs came up for the different shades. I liked the fact that it was my favorite color in lipstick form. I liked that it fit the whole goth look I'd somehow developed. But I couldn't wear it, unfortunately, because I had this nasty little habit of biting my lip, and drawing blood.
