After being dumped, Beverly swears she can never love again. Bev plans to wallow in sadness in her room at her aunt's the whole summer. No time for making new friends, finding a temporary summer job, or flirting with a new boy. But when her cousin, Becca drags her to a party one night to get her in the summer feeling again, she runs into a boy named Kingsley (Lee) Ryan.
Lee is a stuck up, extremely good looking, arrogant, cocky jerk. He finds something in Beverly that draws him in and can't seem to find what.
After a bet, Kingsley needs make Beverly fall in love with not only him but his small town, Hoban. The girl who hates the town and most of the people in it. Especially after being sent there against her will.

I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too.
