The Carefree Rider

Ryder Williams is the boy that everyone wishes they could be. He sticks to his carefree lifestyle, enjoying a metaphorical breeze that blows him through everything he encounters. He has never had to worry about grades, or friends or even chores. He has never had to care about anything important. But when his mother instills a new responsibility with him, one that he immediately rejects, Ryder begins to realize that he might have to lose the carefree lifestyle.
With a secret that he hopes will die with his father, Ryder tries his best to glide through the idea of his mother dating again, and the idea of committing to a girl. A girl that he never thought he would want to spend the rest of his life with. He tries his best to keep up with her life, while struggling with his own, as his senior year starts and brings new challenges forward.
