Zack and Parker are brother and sister, only trying to find their way in the world without any parents to guide them. Parker sings and plays the keyboard on dingy street corners, and Zack films her, hoping to fulfill his dream as a movie shooter. When Zack's video is accepted, he's flown out to LA, leaving Parker with only her best friend, Marla, and a quirky guitar player to take care of her and get her through one of the hardest times in her life. Will Parker make it to the big time, or will she be stuck on the corner of the street forever?
