They avoid their kind at all costs, living in the human world. They met Kyaesin while on the run and she quickly was adopted into their family. A family that is now struggling to survive.
Amy is used to being on her own. Her life seems to move from one bad situation to the next. So she moved. Or ran, whatever you want to call it. She is starting over and allowing herself to hope again. But it is a short lived new beginning as she quickly is drawn into the bad situation centered around Matt, Nate and Kyaesin.
Their struggles will lead to their defeat or possibly the restoration of the world they live in. With some new relationships along the way.
