Five Princesses compete every generation to become the new queen of Variance. They must fight their warriors, each other, and often times themselves. It was a simple process that would result in one winner-one queen. Then somebody interfered, and the whole kingdom was threatened. The princesses entered the arena worrying about who would be the next queen, but now they worry if there will even be a kingdom left to rule.

The Icewing prince Iceberg was born with a magical gift that hasn't appeared in his royal family for years. He had the mysterious animus powers that were so rare in every tribe of Pyrrhia.
